"Each Wrinkle Shapes Us "

The brain in the drawing is the human brain. The lines around the skull were drawn to give a microscopic effect, helping the viewer concentrate on individual wrinkles in the brain, which shape who we are.

"The Magic Hand of the Doctors"

Doctors not only cure patients through medication but through surgery. In order to make the sculpture, I used plaster strips and wire to portray the intricate shapes of hands.

"Outside View of  the Brain" 

When a person takes a MRI scan, the silhouette, the bone and the organ are shown on the screens. After the experience of taking a MRI scan, I wanted to draw how I appear on the screen.

"Words Can Destroy" 
Words can destroy a person, even leading them to death; words can be the most dangerous weapon.The brown string comes out from the person's mouth to trap the person leading to death.

"Neurons" 

Neurons are nerve cells in the brain that deliver the brain's signals and message. In this artwork, acrylic pouring method and a toothpick  was used to draw the neurons.

"Stomach Cells"

Human body is composed with cells, which have a circular shape. The artworks depict the stomach cells that may appear in labs by using colors such as green, yellow and red.

"Don't Disappear like a flower" 

Some face difficulties in life and decide to rely on alcohol and choose to escape from their reality. In order to deliver that message, a wasted plastic bottle and plaster strips and powder with red flowers were used.

"Mugunghwa, the Eternal Blossom that Never Fades"

Mugunghwa, Korea's national flower, is an eternal blossom that never fades. Complementary colors were used to emphasize the culture of Korea as colors like green, yellow and red.

"Life Changing Traumatic Experience" 
Everyone experiences a life changing experience in his/her life. The artwork was first drawn by pencils on a canvas and painted with acrylic colors that represent my school colors( purple and gold) and the opponent's school color(blue)  to describe my concussion experience.

"The Cry of the Darkness" 

People who experience depression hide into the darkness. They lose their passion in life and their grit. The pain they experience in the darkness is one they cannot endure. Therefore, I placed Hanji, Korean traditional white paper, and black ink to deliver the message.

"One Dot, One Whole" 

The artwork was to show the overall harmony of nature. Individual dots eventually ended up as an artwork. Similarly, one organism is a part of a whole nature.

"Do You Have a Brown(Unhealthy) Brain?" 
In this artwork, I used a metaphor. The human brain was represented as a plant. The plant withers depending on what the person intakes. Therefore, negative, and positive substances were drawn using poster color.

The theme of this artwork was to deliver the energy, calmness and happiness inside of me. Using specific colors such as  green to represent nature,energy and harmony.

"Break Out! Escape!" 

In Korean society, achieving the first place in studying has been emphasized throughout history. Students are filled with anger throughout studying. Black and red blood design on the chest delivers the anger.
